Suddenly little things I didn't know have become 2nd nature to me now, and my future prospects are looking much brighter, I have repaired so many computers now and its all thanks to the great training I'm getting from skills train!

Wonderful Christmastime... Christmas is just like in Paul McCartney's song. I really think it is. With spirits up, choirs of children singing and people toasting. What a beautiful time it is! I wish preceding weeks were just as enjoyable and pleasant... Unfortunately they are not.

Uproar, fuss, hustle. And You and I in the middle of it trying not to forget what the Christmas is all about, forcing smiles on our tired faces. On the mission to please our intimates and friends with a bit of remembrance in form of gifts and cards. All the overtime taken and time my pregnant missus had spent alone will not go wasted. Oh God, please don't let me skip anyone and reward me with strength and love...

I was given the strength I asked for!! Right after a phone call from my manager, who passed information about me taking CCNA course to our head office. Apparently they want to offer me a job in the head office! As our company is growing really fast they will need more IT people in there to run and maintain internal network, connecting shops in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Cheltenham and London, distribution centre in Milton Keynes with the head office in Oxford Street in London. This will not only give me an opportunity to work on the Cisco based network and learn from very highly trained and experienced IT people, but will also let me assist them with planning and setting up new branches. This is really great chance for me and a step into mysterious IT world. It involves slight pay rise as well and, what is most important to me, I will not have to travel to Milton Keynes anymore. The time I spend sitting in a traffic I would spend with my partner and soon with my baby!

And there goes the love! This was a great news to me as well as to my beloved missus! Suddenly all felt all right again. There is a bright future ahead for both of us. It really makes us feel couple years younger.

Now I cannot wait till Christmas, despite all the hustle, so I could share the good news with friends and family. This is the best Christmas gift I could get! And I am sure that next year's Christmas preparations will be nothing but fun and joy for three of us. Therefore I would like to thank my partner, my baby-to-be and You Skills Train for keeping me on the right track.

I have really enjoyed studying with skillstrain, the support is marvellous, I have learnt a lot of things with computers and have also got a job in which the knowledge gained has helped me a lot in the everyday IT job I do and hopefully wish to be promoted also to an extra skills within IT support. Must say even though it is quite dear in price, its all working out to be worth it.

This Christmas will be better than the last because I'm studying for a new career in computer hardware repair, so the future is brighter and will be more financially rewarding,and giving me more confidence to achieve my ambitions,to do more computer courses and pass exams.

Hi to all and hope you all are looking forward to a snowy white Christmas, I only started my course 2 months ago, I decided to do it because of the credit crunch and the uncertain future of my job, since I started I am still doing my normal job be it a lot quieter at the moment, but the company I work for has also given me the extra chance to work in the IT department on the days when there is no work in my usual department. This is great fun and I actually look forward to quiet days so I can go into HQ and mess about with computers in the warmth. If it wasn't for this course my wages would have dropped around 30-40% but with my new ambition I am still earning a full wage packet.
Thank you skills train and looking forward to the IT department being my main working environment.

When I moved to Manchester in June 2007 I was really depressed, I had left school, my friends and all hopes behind in London. I didn't have anyone to talk to or anything interesting to do with my time, I used to stay at home watching TV the whole day every day. And occasionally I would get online to check my e-mails. One day when I was watching TV I saw an advert about the SkillsTrain courses, I got online and researched about home learning courses. I sent e-mails asking for more information to a lot of course providers but only SkillsTrain gave me an answer and someone would call me every now and then trying to arrange a meeting, but at the time I was not sure I really wanted to go ahead and go back to studying. Then I met my boyfriend, he told me how important it was to have some kind of qualification, so in the future I can get a job I really like, I spoke to my parents and they also agreed that I had to do something. I got really exited because I always loved learning new things, I got online and chose what I wanted to do, and the next time someone called I arranged a meeting. A very nice young woman came to my house and answered all of my questions and brought some information on courses she thought I would enjoy doing. At that very same day I decided that I would study with SkillsTrain and since I love computers I chose to do the CIW Website Design Manager Course. Because I am only 18 and because of the world crisis, it's been very difficult for me to get a job; I am still searching but thanks to my course I have not lost my faith in finding a wonderful job. The course has made me think really hard about what I want in life and how to get there, how to be successful and how to not lose faith in what you really want. So this Christmas is definitely going to be better than the last for me and my whole family, thanks to SkillsTrain and the whole team. Thank you for everything!!

I HAVE WORKED NIGHTS ON A 12 HOUR SHIFT FOR OVER 4 YEARS NOW, BUT BY TRAINING WITH SKILLS TRAIN, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND A BETTER CAREER ALSO WITH A BETTER INCOME.

This is my first year at skills train college, taking up pc engineer. it's really make my dream vivid again I can say that 19 years I keep myself in the dark, doing domestic work, cleaning houses in different places. I'm glad to know skills train to gain knowledge and to give me courage that one day I can changes my career into a better and decent work. well its really encouraging having a high score 100 t0 97 percent, it's like a beginning of my dream that I know one day I can be a certified pc engineer and it's really a change of my life. It's true that knowledge is power that no one can take it away from you. I never regret studying at skills train staff are helpful and I realize having skills are very important in our life all the best.

At this point in studying, I have not always found the course easy and it is sometimes difficult to plan study time with a family demanding things of you!
I feel I am learning something worthwhile and that I could really change my prospects positively and with potential to do much better for me and my family - by this Christmas I expect to be able to rebuild a PC from scratch and by next Christmas I am hoping I will be in a new and rewarding career and doing it for real
