Hi,

I joined Skilltrain in May 2007 did some assignments but after that I didn't got time to do work almost for a year. Now I have started again and I completed 8-10 assignments within few weeks.

Since starting on the course in July 2007 I have been able to complete the A+ section and with effect from today 21-09-08 I have completed the N+ section. I found the course very stimulating so far and I am hoping the next section will push me a little bit harder. With a bit of luck I 'll be able to complete my career change before I have to retire, its only 5years away. My learning skills had an awakening a few years ago when I took a course on Small Business Management. At present I am working as a Landscape Gardener maintaining the gardens at 10 supermarkets but it is getting too much for me so Im looking for something where I use my head not my hands. I will be doing my best to complete the course before July of next year.

Because I'm German this course is very difficult for me to do, that is what I thought. But after I started the course I must say that if you spend some time and you want to learn it this is a very good way to gain an excellent understanding in IT. And if I find it easy as a foreigner how easy must it be for an english person.

Getting 73 at my first work is not bad as my first achievement, for the past 19 years that I deed not attend a school working as a domestic helper for 19 years, I was really impress that I got this first result it might not perfect score. but base in my back ground its really good.

I was nervous to start a course after such a long period of time . with encouragement from my partner and good advice from a member from skills train , I am confident that I will pass . I am on tma06 on CompTIA A+ and I have achieved great reults . nothing less than 87%. I wish to encourage other people to join skillstrain .

After a slow start to my studies, mainly due to work commitments meaning I was away from home a lot, in the last 2 months I feel I have made good progress. As I stated in last months entry, I was injured in a car accident at the end of July and have been of work since, but rather than get down about the situation I've reacted positively and used the time to not only catch up with my studies but to exceed my expectations on both progress and results. Since the beginning of August I have completed 8 TMA's with results of 89%, 90%, 100%, 90%, 73%, 83%, 93% and I'm awaiting the result of the 8th.
The last couple of weeks have been a bit slower than the previous weeks as I've had to attend quite a few physiotherapy sessions but I feel I'm back on track to making strong progress.

I know very hard to study at home after work especially when you've done your duty at night and no proper sleep on day even a single hour to give attention to my study but I must do that to survive on this real world of poverty to move ahead by finishing my course that I take this is only chance to survive with proper qualification and achievement in the future and much more earning than I've got today. the achievement that ive got is encouragement to myself and motivation to move ahead further by deciding to finish my web site designer course.

I'm happy I bought myself a new PC early last month, and I can't wait to get it up-graded or buy an external memory storage device. What make would you recommend? I've seen Buffalo on sale everywhere, and I'd like to know more about these devices. that's one reason why I sighed up with this course, to possess some understanding about computers that make good game titles that I've spent over ten years playing with instead of settling down with a girlfriend and starting a family. But without this, I can go anywhere in the world of IT. Have you noticed my TMA's are becoming more frequent these days? I hope I can keep up this level of progress without personal matters invading my spare time. plus, I can currently log-Into four different websites at any one time, any time I want. See you again soon, bye.

Initially, I have been struggling to find time to do anywhere near as much work as I would have liked to have done towards my course. Since finishing the first module of the course, and receiving the details for the next modules, I have managed to find a lot more time to plough on with my course. I have recently submitted 5 TMAs in less than two weeks, have got good scores and feel this is quite a turnaround, not to mention I am also studying VB.NET and C# as and when I can.
